THE LADD SCHOOL - PART 1

Some Rhode Islanders swear that the buildings are haunted, claiming they hear moaning, crying, and footsteps coming from the crumbling walls. The Ladd School was a mental rehabilitation hospital that opened its doors in 1907... starting with less than a dozen patents. By the 1950s it housed nearly a thousand. Allegations of patient abuse and neglect were cause enough for an investigation and in 1993 the school was shut down. 

There are many buildings on the property ranging in size and appearance as you will see in my proceeding blog posts... (stay tuned). 

ABANDONED IN SOUTH CAROLINA

I was doing some school visits in SC and was driving to a local CVS when right in the intersection I spotted this gem. You know I had to turn around and shoot a photo.

ABANDONED HOUSE AND REPAIR SHOP

This is a house and repair shop that I spotted off the highway as I was driving toward Hershey Pennsylvania.
